Sometimes I am just plain lucky at the car boot! There was just enough of this beautiful designer remnant by Bluebell Gray to make into two shoulder bags.

This neat little velvet handbag, in a watercolour print is still roomy enough for all your essentials (and a little bit more! ) It fits snuggly under your arm, but is large enough to carry your essentials with style, and closes with a satisfying chunky zip. I designed and made it from a wonderful designer velvet remnant which I spied at the York Car Boot. It is a beautiful pattern, printed to resemble a watercolour wash of jewel like colours.
The velvet has first been stitched onto canvas to give it some body, but is still a soft little bag.
It measures 25 cm along the top, and the height is 21 cm.
It widens to 30 cm along the bottom with boxed ends to create a little more room.
There is a yellow ochre chunky zip opening of 27 cm, and an internal pocket measuring 12 cm by 15 cm, so you need never rummage for your keys again.
There are two shoulder straps each measuring 75 cm.
The bag is lined with black and white ticking fabric, and finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Spot clean with a damp cloth
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and posted out as 2nd class Royal Mail.
