Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

This beautiful vintage remnant came from a stall holder who had made a dress out of it way way back, when York had its very own Liberty fabric shop! I love its strong colour combinations. Storage, headphone detangler, holiday money or for catching the flotsam and jetsam inside your handbag, these little purses are useful all rounders.

Full description
A vintage Liberty print make up bag or purse in a paisley design. I love its strong jewel like colours and its Indian textile print influence. Perfect for use as a little make up bag or coin purse or maybe as a floating pocket, to catch all those bits and bats that swirl around inside your tote bag. A great spring Birthday present or Mothers Day gift.
The fabric has first been backed onto cotton to give it some strength, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 16cm wide, and 12cm long.
The lining is made from a complementary cotton print, and there is a dusty pink zip opening measuring 16 cm
At the top is a hook for twirling around your finger, or for hanging up as a little artwork in its own right.
The purse is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short cool cycle, and leave to dry naturally.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your purse will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and posted out as Royal Mail second class.
