What a beautiful find this was at a York designer fabric shop sale. It reminds me of tudor costumes with its bold scrolls, and its silver and grey velvet shimmering in the light.

Full description
A little bucket bag perfect in every way, but just the end of a range in a fabric I no longer have. Just right for the Perfectly Imperfect weekend. It is a lovely designer remnant in a cut velvet style, shimmering in silver and grey. These simple bucket bags have a button and loop fastening, as well as a magnetic snap on the inside facing, and are like having an additional pocket, but with its own handles! Great little winter handbags, they make lovely birthday presents, best friend Christmas presents, or as a treat for yourself.
The velvet has been stitched onto canvas to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag. It has a pair of handles, each 32 cm long.
It measures 26 cm across, and 23 cm down with boxed in ends to make it a little more roomy.
It is lined with a silky teal fabric remnant, and is finished off inside with a facing for a neat finish.
It fastens with a magnetic clasp, as well as a large vintage button and loop closure, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Spot clean with a little warm water and mild detergent on a cloth. For more serious stuff, please dry clean.
I like to reuse. Your bag will be posted out in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class.
