Shaping, moulding and texturing clay has been part of my ife for many years.
Studying Art and Design in Falkirk, then obtaining a Ceramics Degree at Glasgow School of Art, then further studies in Ceramics at Grays School of Art and Design, Aberdeen.
As a freelance artist I worked extensively in the community on various projects, running art classes for local councils, hospital settings, care homes and schools, finally taking the decision five years ago to develop my own ceramic creations full time.
Like many Artists, I continually find endless inspiration through nature's, changing seasons, when out walking or making a journey, observing the landscape, animals and plant life and how we relate to our environment.
Forming clay, using hand building techniques such as coiling, slab rolling and press moulding, art work is made to incorporate in a Garden and Home setting, such as, sculptures, low relief panels and more.
