In my local area, conservationists set up nesting boxes and ring the young owlets each year.
Many forest walks are easily accessed supporting Barn Owls and many other bird species, animals and insects.
Like most of my art work, nature, animals and the landscape are a constant source of inspiration.
This small sculpture comes with a scroll telling a short story about Barn Owl facts and Folklore, inserted into a pottery leaf.
Can be displayed on its own or in the special keepsake box, suitable for a thoughtful small gift and nature lover.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
This Keepsake Barn Owl, has been hand modelled from earthenware clay, after careful drying and a first kiln firing.
The feathery texture, eyes and beak have been enhanced by painting layers of various colours of under glazes before being dipped individually into a clear earthenware glaze before receiving a second kiln firing giving the whole piece a smooth glossy finish.
Each owl is similair but unique, due to slight variations between each one being hand modelled and crafted, complete with story scroll held together with clay leaf.
These Barn Owls measure approx 5 cm in height,
approx 5.5cm x 3.5 cm at base.
Each one comes in its own robust paper fibre box, decorated with ceramic leaves and hand printed silver moon.
