Folklore traditions love the hare - a symbol of rebirth, fertility, magic and mystery. Hares are often associated with the Moon and Pagan Goddesses such as Ostara and Andraste. Some witches were even said to turn into hares to escape the witch hunts!

Full description
Ivy is a hand-made ceramic wall mounted decoration, lovingly glazed realistically in a matt finish, with shiny eyes and nose. He is all ready for seeing in the Summer with his glossy ivy crown! All hares are made by me, completely from scratch so no two will ever be the same.
I AM AN EARTHENWARE CREATION - that means that although I am beautiful and strong, I should ideally spend my life indoors. I can be put outside during warmer, dry weather but please take me back inside when it gets wet and cold so that the frost and damp don't cause me to crack.
Ivy's size is approx. 7.5cm at his widest point x 23cm tall to the tips of his ears.
