Folklore traditions love the hare - a symbol of rebirth, fertility, magic and mystery! Often depicted as gazing at the moon, it seemed more appropriate to team my hanging hares with the sun, since May is all about Summer icummen in!

A white earthenware hanging hare decoration, featuring a cheerful sun attachment, to welcome in the May and the start of Summer!
The hare is finished in a beautiful shimmering green/blue ceramic glaze with a metallic bronze sun hanging from stainless steel rings. Hangs from a vegan 'suede' cord.
Size is approx. 12cm wide x 15 cm drop (excluding hanging cord)
I AM AN EARTHENWARE CREATION - that means that although I am beautiful and strong, I should ideally spend my life indoors. I can be put outside during warmer, dry weather but please take me back inside when it gets wet and cold so that the frost and damp don't cause me to crack.
