The pattern for this cushion, designed by The Crafty Nomad, was the perfect excuse for me to practice my Y-seams! Those diagonal fabric strips that you can see all the way around the central panel of the cushion are joined using the patchwork technique of Y-seams, which ensures that the seams (which are hidden underneath) are not bulky.
I really enjoyed the process of making this cushion cover!

Full description
Quilted patchwork floral cushion featuring a central bouquet print in shades of pink and blue. The cushion cover is entirely handmade by myself.
I've used a lovely selection of Tilda floral fabrics to create the decorative front panel of the cushion cover. A beautiful centrally placed floral bouquet print is surrounded by ten different complementary prints, which I've then quilted to provide texture and extra interest. The reverse side is soft pink cotton fabric with white dots and has an "envelope" opening to facilitate the insertion of a cushion pad.
Measures approximately 17" (43 cm) square and supplied complete with a polyester cushion pad.
The pattern for the cushion cover was designed by The Crafty Nomad.
