I love making bags! This bag is to my own pattern and design.
I attended a bag making course a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is a lot to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (magnetic snaps, etc ) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.

Full description
Blue and Grey Sashiko panel quilted and hand embroidered patchwork tote bag. Fully lined with a useful zipped internal pocket and magnetic snap closure.
The front panel of this bag has a hand embroidered panel of geometric lines in cream thread on a navy background. I've added a selection of blue, grey and cream patchwork pieces around the front panel and have quilted them, which gives a lovely texture to the bag. The reverse side of the bag is a whole piece of geometric design fabric which again is quilted. All fabrics are 100% cotton. The base of the bag and handles are a soft grey linen fabric, padded and quilted.
Inside the bag you'll find a teal coloured cotton lining with a wide zipped pocket. The bag closes with a dark grey coloured magnetic snap.
This bag is truly unique, one of a kind! There is only one available.
This bag measures 12" (30cm) high plus the length of the handles, which are 11" (28cm) long. It is 15" (38cm) wide and 4.5" (11.5cm) deep.
