As soon as I saw this quilt pattern I just had to make the quilt! As the pattern was published some time ago it took a while to track down the exact fabrics, but eventually I found them for sale online by a small fabric shop in remote Australia! (I am in the UK).
The process of making the quilt then began and it took me about 2 months of cutting, piecing and quilting, spending several hours every day, to complete it. This was the first time that I had quilted a large piece and my quilted lines are not as perfect as I would like in some areas, but they are at least evidence that the quilt is handmade!

Full description
Cream, pink and blue patchwork quilt, entirely hand pieced and machine quilted by myself.
Measures 64" square (162cm square).
Made with Toile de Jouy design cotton fabric depicting traditional scenes of children at play and a range of co-ordinating floral and striped prints in shades of pink, cream and blue.
Filled with a layer of Hobbs 80-20 Wadding and backed with dark pink and cream roses print fabric.
Quilted in an all over crosshatch design.
Hand washable and air dry only.
Some of the quilted lines are not perfectly straight and hence I am selling this heirloom style quilt for the cost of the materials only. Please let me know if you would like to see more photos of the quilt.
