I love making bags! This bag was inspired by the "Strawflower Bag" pattern by Celine of Blue Calla. I attended a bagmaking course a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is so much to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (strap rings, zips and so on) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.

Full description
Quirky and unique, this large shoulder bag has printed linen main panels with natural linen side panels, handles and straps. The printed linen features various world cities and illustrations of maps and landmarks and both sides of the bag are different (as shown in the photos).
There is only one bag of this design available.
It measures 15" (38cm) wide x 10" (25.5cm) high x 6.75" (17cm) deep.
All bag fittings are antique brass coloured metal.
The linen shoulder strap is detachable and has a swivel claw hook at each end, which enables it to be attached to the o-rings on the bag's handles. The bag can be carried just by the handles if preferred.
There is a zipped pocket at each end of the bag.
There are four conical shaped feet on the base of the bag.
The top of the bag has a full width zip.
Inside the bag it is fully lined with light blue coloured cotton. There is a zipped pocket at one end and a double slip pocket at the other end.
