I love experimenting with different patchwork techniques and this type, known as Cathedral Windows, is absolutely fascinating! It involves lots of double folds and layers of fabric, so can be quite fiddly. However the results are always worth it!

Cathedral Windows patchwork fabric Wall Hanging with integral metal and wood hanger.
Measures 15" (38cm) high by 10.25" (26cm) wide, plus the hanger adds a further 4" (10cm) to the height and a further 2.75" (7cm) to the width.
I handmade this beautiful wall hanging using the traditional Cathedral Windows patchwork technique, which creates a lovely multi layered 3D effect. The main fabric is a deep shade of jade green and has a subtle sheen. This is contrasted with pale green fabric and eight different multicoloured feature fabrics for the Cathedral Windows. All fabrics are cotton.
Supplied complete with a decorative wood and metal hanger and ready to display.
