I love making bags! This bag is to my own pattern design.
I attended a bag making course a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is so much to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (strap rings, zips and so on) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.

Summer Tote Bag with an internal zipped pocket, entirely handmade and reusable.
Made with a lovely colourful Summer Beach scene fabric and fully lined with co-ordinating striped fabric. All fabrics are 100% cotton and the bag can be handwashed.
Measures 14" (35.5cm) high x 15.5" (39cm) wide x 4" (10cm) deep. The handles add a further 10" (25cm) to the height. The bag can be folded when not in use.
