I love making bags! This bag was inspired by the pattern "Jades Bag" by the designer, Rosie Taylor. I attended a bagmaking course a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is so much to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (strap rings, zips and so on) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.

Full description
This Soft Pastels geometric print quilted shoulder bag is fully lined with a top zip closure, two zipped pockets and an adjustable and removable shoulder strap. All of the bag fittings - zips, swivel claws, strap slider and D rings - are rose gold coloured metal.
This bag measures 12" (30.5cm) high. It is 12" (30.5cm) wide at the top, widening to 14" (35.5cm) at the bottom. It is 4.5" (11.5cm) deep. The strap is adjustable from 32" (81cm) to 54" (137cm) in length.
I've used a lovely geometric design cotton fabric in pastel shades of teal, pink, grey and cream for the exterior of the bag and have quilted it with a crosshatch design to add extra texture.
There is a zipped front pocket and also a full width zip closure across the top of the bag.
Inside the bag you'll find a co-ordinating pink cotton lining with a zipped pocket.
This bag also has a removable pink cotton webbing shoulder strap which is adjustable for length and attaches to the bag's D rings with two metal swivel claws.
This bag is truly unique, one of a kind! There is only one available.
