I love making bags! This bag is to my own pattern and design.
I attended a bag making course a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is a lot to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (magnetic snaps, etc ) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.

Batik Stripes padded tote bag with an internal zipped pocket.
Padded quilted base and webbing handles.
Fully lined.
Measures 16.5 (42cm) wide x 13 (33cm) high x 4 (10cm) deep. The handles when in use will add a further 9 (23cm) to the height of the bag.
Hand washable.
