I like making useful things from small pieces of wood, and these needle cases are really challenging and fun to make.

Full description

This narrow, elegant, hand-turned oak needle case has an internal depth of 4.5cm, with another 1.5cm within the lid, and an internal diameter of 7mm, making it ideal for short sewing needles or other short, thin items.

The case is just over 9cm long overall, with a diameter of 1.8cm, and has a suction fit lid which does not fall off.

The oak is sanded smooth and finished with a natural beeswax and orange oil finish. The elegant case has a simple ring design on the outside.

The item will be sent to the UK only, as tracked 48 large letter.

Wood is a natural product, and over time with changes in humidity can warp and in extreme circumstances small cracks can appear. This is a normal part of owning hand turned wooden items.
