Full description
This is a hand-turned wooden nostepinne for balling yarn. It is turned from wenge, a deep brown and black dense African hardwood.
The wood is sanded and finished with a natural resin beeswax, and is very smooth in the hand.
The overall length is around 28cm, the handle is around 9cm in length, and the diameter is around 1.8cm at the widest end and 1.4cm at the narrowest.
Wood is a natural product, and over time with changes in humidity can warp and in extreme circumstances small cracks can appear. This is a normal part of owning hand turned wooden items.
