The item is made from natural maple. It is finished with a commercial beeswax and orange oil product (Howard feed n wax).

Full description
This is a small, hand-turned maple needle case. The lid is a suction fit (won't fall off). The depth of the case is 28mm, with an internal diameter of about 7mm. The entire case is 65mm in length and around 18mm in diameter.
The case is smooth and finished with a natural beeswax & orange oil product.
Wood is a natural product, and over time with changes in humidity can warp and in extreme circumstances small cracks can appear. This is a normal part of owning hand turned wooden items.
