The Jack in the Green tradition is thought to have started in the 18th Century. He is a dancing foliate figure, clothed entirely in green leaves and represents the coming of Summer. Jack in the Green parades are held yearly in Deptford, London and Hastings, East Sussex and elsewhere in the UK.

Handmade, earthenware ceramic Jack in the Green wall plaque. Each one is unique as they are not made from moulds, so each has his own personality! Jack is glazed with a matt finish to his face but with a beautiful glossy green coat of leaves and a regal crown!
Three available. Price is for one item. Each plaque has a wire hanger on the back and measures approx. 14.5cm from the top of his crown to the bottom.
