This pretty pendant is inspired by the winter solstice, but looks lovely worn at any time of year. The disc represents the sun, and the mottled texture, which has been applied by hand, is inspired by the thick hoar frosts of midwinter. It is made using Eco Silver which is produced from 100% recycled scrap silver.

CLEARANCE! Was £30
This little disc pendant has been hand-pierced from Eco Silver sheet before being textured all over to give it a lovely frosty appearance. A little ring has been soldered on to the top, through which a sterling silver jump ring is passed so that it hangs nicely. The pendant has been filed, sanded and polished by hand before being given a final polish in a barrel polishing machine.

Eco Silver - Eco Silver is produced from 100% recycled scrap silver obtained from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. It is an excellent choice for the eco conscious as it avoids unnecessary mining.
Chain - 18 inch Italian sterling silver trace chain
The pendant comes beautifully packaged (ready to give as a gift or to enjoy yourself!) in a little dark grey Kraft gift box made from recycled fibres, on a bed of 100% Eco Fibre filling wrapped in a band of plant dyed organic muslin produced by fellow Folksy seller Eathed.
