Full description
This dainty pendant features a crescent moon and an oak leaf. Both shapes have been drawn onto recycled sterling silver sheet, then sawn out by hand using my jeweller's saw. The silver has been textured in two different ways - the moon features my signature frost inspired texture, and the leaf has been hand beaten to give it a soft sparkle.
Dimensions:
Leaf approx 30mm in length
Crescent moon - approx 17mm high
Chain - 18 inch recycled silver belcher chain
The silver I use is 100% recycled scrap silver from a reputable supplier, which is fully traceable and exactly the same quality and purity as unrecycled silver. It has been recovered from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. This avoids the unnecessary negative environmental impact of mining for new silver.
