Full description
A contemporary folk heart shaped pendant which hangs at a jaunty angle. The design has been drawn by hand on to recycled sterling silver sheet and then cut out using my jeweller's saw. I've gently beaten the silver with an old hammer to give it some texture, and polished it by hand for a gentle glow rather than a highly polished shine.
Dimensions - approx 20mm from top to bottom
Chain - 18 inch recycled sterling silver belcher chain
The silver I use is 100% recycled scrap silver from a reputable supplier, which is fully traceable and exactly the same quality and purity as unrecycled silver. It has been recovered from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. This avoids the unnecessary negative environmental impact of mining for new silver.
Presented in a little branded eco-friendly gift box and recycled tissue paper, ready to give as a gift or to keep for yourself!
