This little bowl was made from a piece of oak branch that broke off a large tree during a winter storm. The crotch had started to rot which is likely why branch came down but also introduced the lovely spalted pattern. When I collected the branch I really didn't think it would be anything special but I got a nice surprise once I started turning!

Lovely little oak bowl with a pleasing light and dark pattern. Finished with hard wax oil. Size H 6.5cm W 15cm.
