This vase was turned from a single rowan burr that I obtained whilst tidying a neighbour's garden. Unfortunately the small tree was rotting away and this piece required a lot of work to stabilise it's shape. On the good side the very elements that made it a tricky one to make are actually what make it beautiful!

A beautifully figured rowan burr vase with natural void finished with hard wax oil. Minor shakes filled with black resin. Size: H 15cm W 14cm.
