I love making bags! This bag is to my own pattern and design.
I attended a bag making course a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is a lot to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (magnetic snaps, etc ) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Handmade sashiko panel patchwork tote bag in shades of grey with blue and red highlights.
Fully lined with a useful zipped internal pocket and magnetic snap closure.
This bag measures 12" (30cm) high plus the length of the handles, which are 11" (28cm) long. It is 15" (38cm) wide and 4.5" (11.5cm) deep.
The front panel of this bag is a handmade panel comprised of a square hand embroidered sashiko sampler stitched with cream thread onto a dark blue background. This is bordered with grey, blue and red patchwork pieces in various Japanese designs.
The reverse side of the bag is a keys design fabric in shades of grey and cream.
All fabrics are 100% cotton.
The base of the bag, handles and inside top are a dark grey linen fabric.
I've sewn a layer of wadding inside the bag to add structure and softness and have quilted the base section and topstitched the handles and seams.
Inside the bag you'll find a light grey tone on tone cotton fabric lining with a zipped pocket. The bag closes with a silver coloured magnetic snap.
Only one bag is available in this design.
