Full description
Turquoise and Pink Mandala quilted tote bag with a colourful print illustration on the front panel and a co-ordinating patterned back panel. I've fully lined this bag with co-ordinating cotton fabric and have added a useful internal zipped pocket.
It measures 11.5" (29cm) high plus the length of the handles, which are 10" (25.5cm) high. It is 15" (38cm) wide and 4.5" (11.5cm) deep.
The colourful front panel is printed with a green and pink mandala design. I've added a dark green panel on either side of this and have quilted it with wavy lines. For the back panel of the bag I've used a multicoloured patterned fabric and I have quilted this with crosshatch lines. A layer of soft cotton wadding is sewn into the bag and together with the quilting this provides a lovely soft texture. All fabrics are 100% cotton.
For the base, top of the lining and the handles I've used a bright turquoise linen and have added quilted lines or topstitching for added texture and interest. I've also made "box" corners so that the bag will stand up on its' own.
Inside the bag you'll find a green and white patterned lining with a zipped pocket and a gold coloured magnetic snap to close the top of the bag.
