Full description
Lovely handmade quilted tote bag with a printed fawn illustration on the front panel and a co-ordinating floral patterned back panel. I've fully lined this bag with matching cotton fabric and have added a useful internal zipped pocket.
This bag measures 11.5" (29cm) high plus the length of the handles, which are 10" (25.5cm) high. It is 16" (40cm) wide and 4.5" (11.5cm) deep.
The colourful front panel is printed with a fawn and countryside design in shades of greys, blues, greens, pinks, yellows and white. I've added a lilac coloured panel on either side of this and have quilted it with wavy lines. For the back panel of the bag I've used a co-ordinating floral patterned print fabric. A layer of soft cotton wadding is sewn into the bag and this provides a lovely soft texture. All fabrics are 100% cotton.
For the base, top of the lining and the handles I've used a mid purple cotton fabric and have added quilted lines and topstitching for added texture and interest. I've also made "box" corners so that the bag will stand up on its' own.
Inside the bag you'll find a cream with pink spot patterned cotton lining with a zipped pocket and a rose gold coloured magnetic snap to close the top of the bag.
