I love making bags! This bag was inspired by the pattern "Minerva Tote" by the designer, Bagstock. I attended a bag making course a couple of years ago and learnt so much about bag construction. There is so much to consider - not just the exterior fabric, but the lining, the fittings (strap rings, zips and so on) and the all - important interfacing. Interfacing gives a bag structure and form and a professional finish.

Full description
Handmade navy and white floral tote bag with a zipped top closure. Multiple zipped and slip pockets, two tone handles, protective feet and top zip. One of a kind.
Measures 16" (35cm) wide x 12.25" (31cm) high x 4" (10cm) wide at the top, tapering to 5" (12.5cm) wide at the bottom. The handles when in use add a further 12" (30.5cm) to the height of the bag.
I've used a lovely navy and white floral printed fabric for the main panels of the bag, teamed with a navy blue contrast. The handles are two tone to match and the interior is white and cream patterned. All fabrics are 100% premium cotton. The bag has three gold coloured zips and a reinforced base with six matching metal bag feet.
There is a top zip closure with gold coloured metal end grip, two zipped and lined pockets in the front panel of the bag and a further wide zipped pocket and two slip pockets in the interior of the bag.
This bag is entirely unique and handmade with love!
