I love working with wool. Once I had learnt to wet felt wool it seemed a natural progression to make a useful rug out of a raw sheared fleece.

Full description
This is a small fleece rug made from a Hebridean sheared fleece. To the fleece I have added a wool backing using a wet felting technique.
It is a dark brown fleece with many tonal ranges running through the locks. It measures 28” X 24” (71 x 61cms). It would be a perfect size for a dogs bed. Dogs love to lie on wool.
