Originally I learnt to needle felting but then but then went on to learn to wet felt. From there it was a joy to learn how to change a raw sheared fleece into these beautiful rugs.

Full description
This rug is handmade using a wet felting method. It is made from a sheared fleece to which I have added a wool backing by wet felting. This makes the fleece useable and hard wearing.
This fleece rug is a beautiful mixture of cream tones and white. It measures 35” x 25”. It has a firm backing which will make hard wearing. The stunning curls have been left natural to show their texture.
