I love making things with wool, although wool before it is spun. Making something useful out of a raw sheared fleece is such a joy.

Full description
This beautiful rug is handmade using a sheared fleece from an Icelandic breed sheep. I have added a wet felted backing to make the fleece useable and hard wearing. I have left the locks in their natural form but they can be brushed out.
This would make a lovely rug or a chair throw. It measures 47” x 28” (120 x 70)
