These little earrings are inspired by seeing the moon glowing in the sky over an ancient monument. The texture is inspired by the thick hoar frosts that we get here in winter.

Full description
This pair of mismatched studs - one crescent moon and one megalith shape - has been made entirely by hand using traditional silversmithing techniques. The shapes are drawn on to recycled sterling silver sheet and then cut out by hand using my jeweller's saw. The silver is hand beaten to give it my signature frost inspired textured, and the earrings are polished by hand to give the silver a lovely glow rather than a high shine finish.
Dimensions:
Moon - approx 20mm from top to bottom
Megalith - approx 11mm by 8mm at tallest and widest points
Recycled sterling silver posts and butterfly / scroll backs
Presented in a little branded eco-friendly gift box and recycled tissue paper - ready to give as a gift or to keep for yourself!

The silver I use is 100% recycled scrap silver from a reputable supplier, which is fully traceable and exactly the same quality and purity as unrecycled silver. It has been recovered from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. This avoids the unnecessary negative environmental impact of mining for new silver.
