Hi, I'm The Old Button - welcome to my shop and I hope you find lovely things that you would like to buy.
I post every day, using Royal Mail First Class for cards, and Track 24 for all other items, and I can post directly to the recipient - see my Upgrades listings. Dispatch times are currently 1-3 days for most of my makes, with a few taking longer as indicated in the item details.
In the busy run up to Christmas, I'm no longer taking commissions for my embroidered play scenes and my patchwork quilts, but I have gift voucher options. The last day for ordering my custom hand embroidered Christmas stockings and Child's Drawing Pictures is Monday 9th December. For all other items I will be open right up until Christmas week.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Reversible felt play scene, ideal for pirate and outer space pretend play and story telling - with an optional storage bag for keeping your child's little toys safe. A lovely Christmas or birthday gift for boys or girls - why not add a few themed figures.
Made for soft wool felt, and small enough to roll up in a bag and take on journeys and holidays as well as using at home. One side of the mat has two island shapes on a blue felt background, and the other has a slice of the moon's surface and a stunning red planet in a black sky.
As the mats are handmade, the placement and colours may vary slightly.
I have shown the mat with little toy figures (approx 2-3 inches tall) as an illustration, but it is perfect for use with any small play toys.
Made from quality wool felt, securely machine stitched to hold all the layers and to add decorative features and contours. Additional features are added with cotton print inserts.
The optional bags are made from quality quilting cotton in different prints, fully lined and have short cotton drawstring cords for easy access.
Tested to EN71 standards and UKCA (the UK version of CE) marked. My playmats are safe for children of all ages. Due to the drawstring closure, the bags are recommended for over 18 months.

CARE: Wash by hand or on a gentle wool machine cycle. Dry flat, do not tumble.
