Full description
Quilted fabric card, featuring either a lion or an elephant - ideal as a birthday card for a child. The inside is blank for you to write your own message so can be used for other occasions too. Why not use to wish a child good luck on starting school, or just to write a little note?

After use, these lovely little cards would be great as nursery decor, put into simple square frames.
This is part of my zero-waste range, where I use small offcuts of fabric to create beautiful little gifts.
I fussy cut interesting images from fabric left over from my playmats and quilts, and back it with an offcut of thin wadding. I then use a machine quilting technique to add relief to some of the outline, giving it a slightly 3-D effect. The position of the animal in your card may differ, depending on the offcut used.
The fabric is mounted in a tri-fold aperture card in quality white cardstock, and comes with a matching envelope.
