Full description
A mini fabric hoop picture with hand embroidery, featuring Father Christmas putting presents under the tree. Ideal as a gift - pop one in a stocking, or send in the post - it comes in a card box and is small enough through a letterbox. I can even send directly on your behalf - see my shop listings for postage upgrades
Available singly, or as a set of two - each will be different images from the same print.
As I am trying to be as sustainable as possible, I try and use my fabric off cuts from my other makes. The fabric for these little pictures is cut from prints I use in my Christmas stockings. Each picture will vary slightly, depending on the offcut, but all will feature Santa and a tree.
I fussy cut the fabric to give a nicely placed image - exact placement will vary - and add a layer of soft wadding. I then embellish the fabric with hand embroidery - this one has daisy loops and chain stitch on the unicorn's mane and tail, and triple crosses on the tree.
The fabric is securely fitted into a Elbese wooden embroidery hoop, and finished neatly at the back with pure wool felt blanket stitched all the way round the ring. The felt colours vary but will co-ordinate with the main fabric.
Size - 4 inch diameter, plus hanging loop.
Care - dust with a dry cloth or brush
