Full description
Hand embroidered with traditional stitches, my retro themed felt bauble would look stunning on a Christmas tree or decorating a beautiful wrapped present.
Based on a retro palette of purple, turquoise and blue, I hand cut the wool felt before accenting the front with embroidery stitches in co-coordinating cotton embroidery threads. I don't follow a stitching pattern, but let inspiration come as I sew each motif and row by hand, meaning each bauble is unique.
A delicate red ribbon is securely sewn under a silver grey felt cap to create the hanging loop, and the bauble is blanket stitched all the way round and lightly stuffed with recycled wadding.
Please choose the colour of the main felt in the options. The shape (round or teardrop) will be selected at random based on what I have ready made, but if you have a preference please add a note to your order.
Approximately 3 inches tall, with a 2 inch hanging loop.
