Full description
A fearless dragon circling the castle, a knight standing guard on the parapets, or a princess looking out of her tower window. These lightly quilted fabric cards are ideal for a toddler or young child's birthday. Blank inside for you to write your own message the card can also be used for other occasions such as starting school or to send a special note.

This is part of my zero-waste range, where I use small offcuts of fabric to create beautiful little gifts.
Each card will be different depending on the offcut - there will be a dragon, knight or princess as chosen, howewever colours and postitions will vary. There may also be a second figure in the picture - like the card shown in the photos with both a knight and a blue dragon.
I fussy cut the image of the knight, princess or dragon from fabric left over from my playmats and quilts, and back it with an offcut of thin wadding. I use a machine quilting technique to add relief to the outline of the figures and some of the castle background, giving it a slightly 3-D effect.
The fabric is mounted in a tri-fold aperture card in quality white cardstock, and comes with a matching envelope.
