Full description
A glorious mix of silks and lace - these lovely bundles of fabrics and trims have been put together using bits and pieces left over from my more specific slow stitching kits.
Perfectly imperfect - these are the same standard as my Summer Silk Wedding and Silk and Sari curated kits, but each box will have different pieces.
In your box you will find a calico foundation piece, some pins and a needle and 4 lengths of embroidery thread in different colours. Plus my stitch guide and introduction to slow stitching,
The exact decorative fabrics and trims in each box will differ, but they wlll all include:
- pieces of silk - raw, shot or dupion
- bits of sari chiffon and silk ribbons
- scraps of wedding lace and lace motifs
- vintage and antique ribbons and braids
- scraps of floral fabric from bridesmades dresses or pre-loved clothing
- snippets of antique Welsh quilt and vintage wool blanket
- salvaged ribbons, lace and ric-rac
- hand dyed linen yarn, tapestry and fluffy wool
- pre-loved buttons
