I needed a simple way to keep my rings safe when playing my drum kit, so I started making these clever pendants for myself. They are a really popular piece of jewellery for anyone who needs to take their rings on and off, and is looking for a quick and simple way of keeping them safe. I am slightly obsessed with these fun pendants! Beautiful and stylish, they have a secret function - a clever way to keep your rings safe when you need to remove them to do the washing up, or gardening, or (like me) play the drums!
The design means that you don't need to fiddle around taking the chain on and off. Simply take hold of the pendant while it is round your neck, slip your ring over one of the pendant's arms, pull the ring along and up the other side of the pendant, and then drop it down - your ring will be held perfectly safe - demo in stories on my Instagram (at silver underscore nutmeg)
I make these in 1.8mm gauge recycled sterling silver wire. The silver I use is produced from 100% recycled scrap silver obtained from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. It is an excellent choice for the eco conscious as it avoids unnecessary mining.
Dimensions: approximately 17mm wide, 23mm high
Chain: 20 inch (50cm) recycled sterling silver belcher chain
Your pendant will be sent by first class post in a little eco-friendly, branded gift box and recycled tissue paper.
