Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I especially love these tiny bits of embroidery with their gently washed and faded feel. It feels good to make something pretty and practical with them once again.

Full description
This pretty little lavender bag is upcycled from a corner of a tablecloth which had seen better days. I love the softly faded pinks of its spray of embroidered flowers. Inside is a small muslin bag of lavender from The Wolds in North Yorkshire. Lavender has been known for centuries for its special powers! Pop it in a drawer or over a hanger to keep your clothes smelling sweet, or under your pillow to encourage a healthy nights sleep. Storing it with your clothes will also help to keep at bay those pesky moths. This little lavender bag would make a nice house warming gift or a lovely little present for Mum.
The lavender bag is 9 cm by 9 cm and nestling inside is a muslin bag of dried lavender .
The front is embroidered with a spray of flowers, whilst the back is white broiderie anglaise, to let out the scent.
There is a hook to go over your clothes hangers, or to hang it up as a tiny piece of craft in its own right. It is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse. Your lavender bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
