Sometimes its refreshing to find fabrics which are not floral, and this one made up into an unusual lavender bag for all tastes!

Full description
This little lavender bag is upcycled from a vintage woven table runner which had seen better days. I liked its geometric weave and the faded blue and yellow colour combinations. Inside is a little muslin bag of lavender from The Wolds in North Yorkshire. Pop it in a drawer or over a hanger to keep your clothes smelling sweet, or under your pillow to encourage a healthy nights sleep. If you store it with your clothes, it will help to keep at bay those pesky moths. This gently faded and washed lavender bag would make a nice house warming present, or a lovely little Mothers Day present.
The lavender bag is 9 cm by 9 cm and nestling inside is a muslin bag of dried lavender .
The front and the back are identical, and made of linen, with a wide woven decorative strip down the centre.
There is a hook to go over your clothes hangers, or to hang it up as a tiny piece of craft in its own right. It is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse. Your lavender bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
