Full description
This little lavender bag is upcycled from the corner of a vintage embroidered tablecloth. The front is stitched with two jolly flowers and leaves, and the back is a section of ivory open work embroidery. Inside is a little muslin bag of lavender from The Wolds in North Yorkshire. Pop it in a drawer or over a hanger to keep your clothes smelling sweet, or under your pillow to encourage a healthy nights sleep. Or you could fold it inside your clothes to keep at bay those pesky moths. This charming bag would make a lovely house warming present, or a sweet Mothers Day present.
The lavender bag is 10 cm by 10 cm and nestling inside is a muslin bag of dried lavender .
The front has a pair of embroidered flowers and the back is ivory linen with a floral open embroidery to allow the scent out.
There is a hook to go over your clothes hangers, or to hang it up as a tiny illustration in its own right. It is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse. Your lavender bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
