Full description
My beautiful patchwork hearts comes with a removable tag with a name or a short phrase of your own choice, hand-embroidered onto a pure wool felt tag that fastens to the button.
A thoughtful gift for many occasions. Why not give one on Valentine's Day (or Galentine), or have one made into a wedding gift keepsake with the couple's names embroidered together.
Size - 4 inches (10 cm) without loop.
The front heart is hand cut from a patchwork fabric I created from floral and co-ordinating cotton prints in pinks and greens, and quilted in a basket weave effect. I paired this with a soft pink-red stripe fabric on the reverse side, with a vintage style ribbon hand sewn with blanket stitch.
The name or phrase will be hand embroidered onto a cream felt tag that fastens to either the front or the back button, or it can be removed completely.
Name style:
Short names or phrases will be hand embroidered with chain stitch.
Longer names phrases will be use a stabbed back-stitch which is more delicate.
