To showcase some of the beautiful Welsh weaves, reusing offcuts from modern mills and upcycling vintage blankets that are too worn or damaged to be repaired.

Full description
This is a make it yourself kit for a gorgeous heart in beautiful upcycled wool and cotton fabrics, salvaged from Welsh wool blankets and vintage clothes. Using a simple blanket stitch technique, this is suitable for a confident beginner or intermediate sewist, with lots of detailed instructions provided.
Make it for yourself or to give to someone special for Valentine, or even gift the kit itself to a crafty friend.
This slow-sewing kit includes high quality natural materials, prepared for you to start sewing straight away. The front heart is cut from Welsh wool blankets with a smaller cotton heart ready fused to the centre, and the back is plain blue Yorkshire herringbone wool fabric.
Choose you choice of wool fabric from the options list (the cotton heart applique may vary from the photos) . I am sorry but the gold tapestry (main picture) is now out of stock.
Full instructions are given on hand sewing and stuffing the heart, and the kit includes all the materials needed including the stuffing and hanging loop - you just need to provide scissors for snipping the thread.
