A friend who knows me so well, put these lovely William Morris for Sanderson print curtains my way. I love the strong, bold design of leaves and grapes, and they responded so well to a wash and brush up, that they are now going to become a selection of bags and accessories.

Full description
This beautiful William Morris fabric with its climbing vines and bunches of grapes, was once a pair of curtains. With some tender love and care, they have transformed into a practical autumn shoulder bag or handbag, a perfect match for your seasonal wardrobe. It has two straps, as well as an internal pocket for the flotsam and jetsam of your life, and fits neatly under your arm. Large enough to carry all your essentials with style, this shoulder bag closes with a satisfying chunky zip.
It would make a lovely present for an autumnal Birthday, or as a gift for a William Morris fan.
The fabric is first stitched onto canvas to give it some body, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 26 cm along the top, widening to 30 cm along the base.
The height is 20 cm and the base is boxed to make it more roomy.
There is a dark golden chunky zip opening of 26 cm.
The two shoulder straps measure 70 cm each.
There is an internal pocket measuring 12 cm by 14 cm, so you need never rummage for your keys again.
The bag is lined with old skool black and white ticking fabric, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a cool, short cycle and leave to dry naturally.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and posted out as 2nd class Royal Mail.
