This Acer tree is just outside my conservatory, so is one of the first and last things you see in the garden, it lights up the border with colour from Spring to Autumn, such a delight especially on a rainy day. It loves being a Cyanotype model for me, performs so well and never complains!

Full description

New spring Acer leaves are captured here, soft, delicate, and distinctively shaped. Using the traditional cyanotype technique and moving some of the leaves just before the final exposure time, has created depth and colour variations in this piece. There are areas that 'look' transparent, showing the layers. I have called it Quing which is Japanese for 'Blue'.

This large piece of Original art would look wonderful framed and placed on a living room wall or be an eye-catching piece in a large hallway.

This Photogram is created on 300gsm acid-free, Archival, watercolour paper.

Named ‘Quing’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1

The Artwork is NOT MOUNTED OR FRAMED (For mounting information please see Buying from Me in my shop front)

The Artwork paper size is 12"x 16" ( 30.5 x 40.6 cm) for you to place into a Frame of your choice.

The Artwork will fit into a frame size:

16" x 20" with a mount

40 x 50cm with a mount, one of the examples used in photographs is Ikea's Gold Lomviken size 40x50cm (mount opening 29 x 39cm)

The frames and props shown in the photographs are for illustrative purposes only.

The photogram will be posted out in a clear protective sleeve and an all-board envelope which is reusable and recyclable.

Colour and contrast may vary slightly from the image on screen due to monitor/screen settings. See more original Photograms in my Japanese Garden Collection.
