Original framed artwork- Japanese maple leaves (Acer Palmatum) adorn this Traditional Cyanotype, some of which I have embellished with gold ink.
With a rich history of symbolism, the Japanese Maple has been important in Asian art, gardening, and poetry for hundreds of years and is considered a symbol of grace. The leaves seem to be gracefully fluttering down in this photogram. Created using the traditional Cyanotype technique, but by removing some of the leaves just before full exposure, areas have turned a lighter blue, adding more interest to the print.

Created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to an acid-free backboard and white mount, and framed with a distinguished gold-coloured frame with A GLASS front.
It comes fitted with d rings and a cord ready to hang.
Named ‘Ranjuo’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
The Frame Size is 38 x 48 x 2cm.
The aperture size is 20 x 29 cm
