I love finding these display hankies in battered presentation boxes. A gift long ago forgotten . They make up into the sweetest of accessories, and I love to use them for pretty Lavender bags.

Full description
This lavender bag is made from an embroidered hanky from one of those boxed up vintage gift sets. Altho some of the fabric had rust marks from the pins, I was able to salvage enough for a sweet vintage embroidered lavender bag. The front is a pretty crinoline lady in her garden complete with thatched cottage! Inside is a little muslin bag filled with lavender from the Yorkshire Wolds. There is a hook to hang it up and admire this tiny piece of handiwork, or pop it over a clothes hanger and keep away pesky moths. Lavender is that old and simple remedy for a good nights sleep, so put this little lavender bag under your pillow to help you rest.
The bag measures approx 10 cm by 10 cm
The front is embroidered with a lady in her garden, and the back is a fragment of vintage muslin, with pulled work to let out the scent.
There is a practical hook for hanging over a clothes hanger to keep those pesky moths at bay! Gently squeeze your lavender bag from time to time to release the fragrance.
I like to recycle. Your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled packaging and sent by Royal Mail 2nd class.
