I spotted this fabric a mile off - a lovely machine embroidered throw in all its glory at the car boot sale. Although it was only calico, I thought a bit of padding could bring this fabric up to scratch, and make a nice collection of bags. The other matching one is also in my shop right now.

Full description
This practical little shoulder bag or handbag is upcycled from an embroidered throw I found at the York car boot. I have lightly padded it to give it some body, and I love its Folk Art feel. It has two straps, as well as an internal pocket for the flotsam and jetsam of your life, and fits neatly under your arm. It is large enough to carry all your essentials with style, and closes with a satisfying chunky zip. It would make a great Mothers Day present, or as a gift for anyone who loves a Folk art style,
The fabric has been stitched and padded onto canvas to give it some body, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 27 cm along the top, widening to 30 cm along the base.
The height is 23 cm and the base is boxed to make it more roomy.
There is a bright yellow chunky zip opening of 27 cm.
The two shoulder straps measure 70 cm each.
There is an internal pocket measuring 12 cm by 14 cm, so you need never rummage for your keys again.
The bag is lined with bright striped fabric, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short cool cycle, and leave to dry naturally. Pull into shape whilst damp.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and posted out as 2nd class Royal Mail.
