I bought this beautiful remnant length from my local Oxfam shop. I had been admiring it in the window, and knew that it would make up into a set of pretty bags. There is a matching shoulder bag also in my seconds sale right now.

This practical little clutch bag has gone into my sales section to free up some space for new things! This would double up as a pretty toiletries bag for a weekend away. Made from a lovely floral remnant by Laura Ashley, it has a Japanese inspired cherry blossom print scattered over the surface. I have given it a long strap so that it can be used as a clutch bag, or simply hooked up to admire the print. It would make a lovely present for anyone starting Uni, as a little wedding gift, or for someone with a love of Japanese style.
The fabric has an open weave, with a slight slub to it, and has been backed with canvas to give it body.
It measures 22 cm across, widening slightly towards the base, and measures 15 cm down.
There is a 22 cm pink zip fastening.
The ends are boxed to make it a little more roomy.
It is lined with a vintage floral cotton, and is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Wash on a short, cool cycle, and leave to dry naturally.
I like to recycle where I can. Your bag will be posted out using clean, recycled packaging from my collection, and will be sent as Royal Mail 2nd class post.
